2. How We Process Your Child's Photos

We take photo privacy extremely seriously. Here's exactly what happens:

Secure Upload

Photos are uploaded via encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored securely on our servers.

AI Processing via Gemini API

Photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI API for character generation. Google processes these images solely to generate your storybook illustrations. Google's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Local Storage

Generated character images and scene illustrations are stored on our servers in an encrypted format. Original photos are retained until you delete them or your account.

Retention Period

We retain photos and generated content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual photos, characters, or books at any time. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

We never: Share photos publicly, use photos for training our own AI models, sell photos to third parties, or use photos for any purpose other than creating your storybooks.

3. Children's Privacy & COPPA Compliance
